The FL20 is a Tilt-style Spiral Balance, 20 inches long, featuring a red or green bearing at its tip. Constructed from a mill-finished metal tube, 3/8 inches in diameter, it includes rod extension measuring 3/4 inches. Colored nylon bushings indicate the spring and sash weight for which the balance is designed, suitable for vinyl or metal single hung tilt windows. It's used on windows weighing 8-21 lbs (Red Bearing) or 14-26 lbs (Green Bearing), with an adjustable weight range. Many window manufacturers use it, and a tilt balance tension tool (Part H-3787) can be ordered separately.
